Called today around 11.30am and asked could I get my car serviced, he said sure being it in. I dropped it off and 3 hours and $130 my car was done!Fantastic! I used to get my car serviced by a big company and you had to book in about a week early and it always took about 5-6 hours and cost no less than $250 and it always cost more when you went to pay.Highly recommend Jimac, lovely friendly service.
An excellent mechanic, very well priced, knows LPG.In 5 years I have has all 3 of my cars converted to LPG with Jamie and they all run perfectly, thanks to his attention to detail and excellent maintenance.They say in life if you have a good Doctor, a good Dentist and a good Mechanic you are set for life, well at least I have a good mechanic that I can trust.
Up until recently, my mechanic has been a family member, however now my family member has moved overseas i've had to look for a new mechanic. As a female, i felt it difficult to find a trustworthy mechanic so i let the review on here and my instinct judge who to take my business to. After days of overlooking several different mechanics i decided to go with Jimac and i tell you what, absolutely no regrets. I dropped my late model vehicle off and thought i had a minor issue, turns out it was quite another problem that HAD to be fixed. Looking at the job that had to be done i expected to be emptied out of pocket by it so i expected the worst as the model of my car in not exactly a cheap 4WD to fix. So when i went to drop in, I was given a brief explanation of what the problem was, only because it was obvious what the part is used for, then i got the quote and i was absolutely SHOCKED!!! I felt like i robbed him of his services for how cheap the repairs cost me. My 4WD is in the most expensive to repair category and im so glad i trusted my instincts with Jimac, i highly recommend them, especially if you are a female looking to NOT get ripped off by some terrible mechanic. A young bloke by the name of Jamie, Bloody fantastic, knows his stuff and genuine in pricing and his opinions. He won't stuff you around and is honest from my dealing with him. I have had my two Ford Fairlane's serviced by him, the first was already converted to LPG, he got it running great, the second I got him to install LPG, he did a perfect job, showed some of my mates, and they were extremely impressed.
